Am I Winning?

Today Devin is (finally) feeling better. His fever has been gone since last evening and he has some more pep in his step. His appetite is still lacking- but he will get there. So, since we are on vacation we decided to head out and do something fun.

First we went Candle Pin Glow-Bowling. It was awesome. I have never been glow bowling before and we were all lighting up. My pictures came out so bizarre. Here are a few...Devin kept asking, "Am I winning?"

After the fun with bowling we decided to do lunner (lunch/dinner) at The Rain Forest Cafe. We thought the 1/2 hour drive would be worth the entertaining animal experience. Well, this was Devin's reaction.
The *entire* time we were there.
He even had to sit on my lap. I guess this wasn't our best choice of things to do with Devin. Personally, I like rain forest animals and simulated thunderstorms. Oh well.

Bowling

All week Devin was asking us if we could go bowling, so on Saturday afternoon we decided to take him. We didn't realize that the place we went to was "big ball" ten pin (until we pulled up and by then it was too late- as anyone with a 2 or 3 year old knows!) which made things a little more challenging for me and Devin.


Erick went and found us (me and Devin) some little 6 pounder balls to use, especially since Devin REFUSED to use the ball "slide" they have for little kids. I did much better once I had the 6 pound ball (by much better I mean actually hit some pins) and Devin was able to push his down the lane. He did use the bumpers.


And don't even ask what's up with this goofy face.....THIS is the kind of "cheese" smile I get lately!


Oh and in case you were wondering...Erick won and Devin and I tied. Yeah, I know.....
