Snow Much!?!

Now I am probably about to divulge a bad Mommy secret here. Devin has been out to play in the snow plenty of times. Many of my faithful readers know that on snowy days, or days nice enough for Devin to play outside I bundle him up and plop him out on our nicely gated back deck and watch him from the warm comfort of our living room. Now, you see, Devin loves the snow. Me, well I love to look at it from indoors, but that's about it.

So, here it is (Karla ducks for cover)....yesterday Devin went sledding for the first time. He LOVED it! As I knew he would. Here are a couple of pictures that I took with my cell phone and tried to enhance with picnik.com

Can you tell how much fun he was having? You should have heard his laugh!!

Oh, and thanks for all of the well wishes and misery on the sickies. I was starting to feel better yesterday, and this morning I woke up feeling WORSE! It must have been playing outside for nearly an hour yesterday that did me in!

Playing In the Snow

Today was the perfect weather to play outside in the snow, in my opinion anyway! It was in the upper 40's (at least!) and very sunny and comfortable. Usually we are out there playing in 20* weather and freezing our tushies off!

We also made a very sad looking snowman, of which I did not get any pictures and found animal tracks. Devin thought the animal tracks were from a pig! Sorry Devin, we don't have any wild pig around here (not that I know of anyway!). hee hee
