The following picture shows the painting that exhibited the lives that were lost just 2 weeks before their battalion was to return to New Hampshire. The men's vehicle hit a land mine. All of the men were from Manchester, NH and it was declared the "saddest day in the city's history."
The entire evening was very nice. It certainly made me very proud to be my father's daughter.
